The NIS2 Directive Lead Implementer training provides participants with the knowledge necessary to assist an organization in effectively planning, implementing, managing, monitoring and maintaining compliance with the NIS2 Directive.
WHAT IS THE NIS2 DIRECTIVE?
The NIS 2 Directive (also known as Directive (EU) 2022/2555), which comes into force on January 16, 2023, aims to improve the security of network and information systems in the European Union. This directive specifically targets operators of critical infrastructure and providers of essential services and requires the implementation of robust cybersecurity measures and the immediate reporting of incidents to the competent authorities.
The scope of the NIS 2 Directive is broader, covering a wider range of organizations and sectors, while tightening security requirements, simplifying reporting obligations and imposing stricter measures and penalties. EDUCATIONAL APPROACH
This training includes essay-type exercises, multiple-choice tests, examples and best practices.
The exercises are based on a case study.
The structure of the quizzes is similar to the certification exam.
PREREQUISITES
The main prerequisite for participation in this training is a general knowledge of information security.
COURSE LANGUAGE
Course materials are in ENGLISH.

This course is provided as self-paced, which means, that you will receive access to the official training materials within at least 24 hours on working days. Along with the material you will also receive a voucher for the certification exam. The exam itself will be conducted remotely via the PECB Exams application.
